Software Engineering and Management (MSEM)

The global world is characterised by steadily expanding world-wide networks, on the one hand, and a global shortage of IT experts, on the other. As a result, there is a growing demand for software engineers who can look forward to well-paid positions in industry. Thus, the job prospects for Master’s students in this field are highly promising.

Prospective employers of our graduates are internationally operating companies which require a broad range of skills as well as specific expertise in software development. Alternatively, job openings may be provided by small and medium-sized enterprises which develop software solutions for larger companies. Finally, by successfully completing this Master’s Programme, the graduates will be well equipped to set up their own business or to develop and perform software projects all over the world.

The first students of the Master’s Programme Software Engineering and Management graduated in winter semester 2009/10.
