Intercultural Mentoring Programme

„Intercultural programmes are great to broaden your horizon, make new friends as well as experiences and having a good time with someone you would have probably never met.“ A mentee from intercultural mentoring programme

In the intercultural mentoring programme students in higher semester of Heilbronn University support international students, who aim to complete their entire studies at Heilbronn University. The programme is also open to all international prospective students, who already live in Germany (e.g. refugees) and who are sure that they want to study at Heilbronn University.

Mentors help their mentees to arrive at the new university and in the new country. They support them in case of organisational issues regarding studying at Heilbronn University, personal topics or learning German. It is also possible to organise leisure time or cultural activities.

Information for a successful career start

The Jobcafé event series gives international opportunity to get information and tips on working in Germany (e.g. job search, CV, job application and interview, contract, visit to companies) in a casual atmosphere. The Jobcafés are held in German and the participation is free. It´s organized by the Welcome-Center Heilbronn-Franken, Agentur für Arbeit and Heilbronn University.

The Career Service of Heilbronn University organizes regular events, e.g. webinars, workshops for students in order to prepare them for a successful carrier start.
